Getting Started

Operators are the foundation of your tablrr database. Each operator represents a gambling operator (casino, sportsbook, or forex broker) that you want to include in your comparison tables and listings.

What you can do with operators:

  • Create detailed operator profiles with logos, ratings, and descriptions
  • Organize operators by type (casino, sportsbook, forex)
  • Search and filter your operator database
  • Use operators in multiple listings and tables
  • Update operator information once and have it sync across all your listings

Creating Operators

To create a new operator:

  1. Navigate to the Operators section from your dashboard
  2. Click the "Create Operator" button
  3. Fill in the operator information:
    • Name: The operator's display name
    • Type: Select from casino, sportsbook, or forex
    • Logo: Upload an operator logo
    • Rating: Enter a rating if desired
    • Bonus: Enter bonus information if applicable
    • Description: Add a description of the operator
    • Features: Add key features as tags
    • Affiliate Link: Add your affiliate link for this operator
  4. The system will automatically generate a URL-friendly slug from the operator name
  5. Click "Save" to create the operator

Note: Your operator is immediately available to use in listings after creation. You can always edit the information later.

Editing Operators

To update an existing operator:

  1. Go to the Operators section
  2. Find the operator you want to edit in the list
  3. Click the "Edit" button (pencil icon) next to the operator
  4. Update any of the operator information
  5. You can replace the logo by uploading a new image
  6. Click "Save" to update the operator

Important: When you update an operator, those changes automatically sync to all listings that include that operator. You don't need to update each listing individually.

Organizing Operators

As your operator database grows, you'll want to organize and find operators easily.

Searching Operators

  1. Use the search box at the top of the operators list
  2. Type any part of the operator name
  3. Results filter automatically as you type
  4. Press Escape to clear the search

Filtering by Type

  1. Use the type filter dropdown
  2. Select "All Types" to see everything, or choose a specific type:
    • Casino
    • Sportsbook
    • Forex
  3. The list updates to show only operators of the selected type

Viewing Your Operators

The operators list shows:

  • Operator name and type
  • Logo (if uploaded)
  • Rating (if set)
  • Actions: Edit and Delete buttons

Operators are displayed in a paginated list, showing 15 operators per page. Use the pagination controls at the bottom to navigate through your operator database.

Deleting Operators

To remove an operator from your database:

  1. Go to the Operators section
  2. Find the operator you want to delete
  3. Click the "Delete" button (trash icon) next to the operator
  4. Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears
  5. The operator will be removed from your database

Warning: Deleting an operator will remove it from all listings that include it. This action cannot be undone. If you want to temporarily hide an operator, consider removing it from specific listings instead of deleting it entirely.

Note: If you're at your operator limit (free tier users), deleting an operator frees up space to create a new one.

Troubleshooting

I can't create a new operator

Issue: "You've reached your operator limit"

Solution:

  • Free tier users have a limit on the number of operators they can create
  • Delete unused operators to free up space, or
  • Upgrade to a paid plan for unlimited operators
  • Check your current usage in the billing section

Issue: "An operator with this name already exists"

Solution:

  • Each operator name must be unique within your account
  • Try adding a distinguishing detail to the name (e.g., "Casino A - UK" vs "Casino A - US")
  • Or edit the existing operator instead of creating a duplicate

I can't find an operator I created

Solution:

  • Use the search box to search by operator name
  • Check the type filter - you might have it filtered to a specific type
  • Clear all filters and search terms to see all operators
  • Check if you're on the correct page of results (use pagination)

My operator logo isn't showing

Issue: Logo not displaying

Solution:

  • Ensure the logo file is a supported format (JPG, PNG, or SVG)
  • Check that the file size is under 2MB
  • Try uploading the logo again
  • If the issue persists, the logo may need time to process - wait a few moments and refresh

I want to change an operator's type

Solution:

  1. Edit the operator
  2. Change the type in the dropdown
  3. Save the changes
  4. The operator will now appear when filtering by the new type

Note: Changing an operator's type doesn't affect existing listings that include it, but it will affect how the operator appears in filtered views.

I accidentally deleted an operator

Solution:

  • Unfortunately, deleted operators cannot be recovered
  • You'll need to recreate the operator with the same information
  • Consider being more careful with deletions, or create a backup of important operator data

Next Steps

Now that you understand how to manage operators:

  1. Create your first operator to get started
  2. Build up your operator database with all the operators you want to feature
  3. Learn how to create listings that use these operators
  4. Organize operators by type for easier management
  5. Keep operator information up to date so your listings stay current
