Usage Limits
Each plan has limits on the number of websites, listings, and operators you can create. These limits help ensure fair usage and resource allocation.
Viewing Your Usage
- Go to your billing settings
- You'll see your current usage displayed:
- Operators: X / Y (or unlimited)
- Websites: X / Y (or unlimited)
- Listings: X / Y (or unlimited)
- Usage meters show how close you are to your limits
What Happens When You Reach a Limit
When you try to create a new resource and you're at your limit:
- You'll see an upgrade prompt explaining the limit
- The creation will be blocked until you upgrade or free up space
- You can delete unused resources to free up space
- Or upgrade to a plan with higher limits
Note: Existing resources continue to work normally even if you're at your limit. Limits only affect creating new resources.
Upgrading Your Plan
To upgrade to a paid plan:
- Go to your billing settings
- Review the available plans and their features
- Choose the plan that fits your needs
- Select either:
- Annual Subscription: Pay yearly (recurring)
- Lifetime Purchase: One-time payment for lifetime access
- Click "Upgrade" or "Purchase Lifetime"
- You'll be redirected to Paddle's secure checkout
- Complete the payment process
- Your plan is upgraded immediately after payment
Benefits of upgrading:
- Higher limits on websites, listings, and operators
- Access to premium templates and features
- API access (Growth+ plans)
- Priority support
- Advanced features like import tools and custom templates
Annual vs Lifetime
- Annual Subscription: Lower upfront cost, renews yearly
- Lifetime Purchase: Higher upfront cost, but no recurring payments
- Both options provide the same features for the plan tier
- Choose based on your preference and budget
Managing Your Subscription
Once you have a paid subscription, you can manage it from the billing settings page.
Viewing Billing Information
- Go to billing settings
- You'll see:
- Your current plan
- Subscription status
- Next billing date (for annual subscriptions)
- Usage statistics
Updating Payment Method
To update your payment method:
- Go to billing settings
- Click "Update Payment Method"
- You'll be redirected to Paddle's secure payment update page
- Enter your new payment information
- Save the changes
- Your payment method is updated for future billing
Note: This only applies to annual subscriptions. Lifetime purchases don't require payment method updates.
Downgrading and Cancellation
Cancelling Your Subscription
To cancel your subscription:
- Go to billing settings
- Find the "Cancel Subscription" section
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm the cancellation
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
- After that, you'll be moved to the free tier
Important:
- You retain access to all features until your billing period ends
- Your data (operators, listings, websites) is NOT deleted
- After cancellation, free tier limits apply to new resource creation
- You can re-upgrade at any time without losing your data
What Happens When You Downgrade
When you cancel or your subscription expires:
- Your data is preserved: All operators, listings, and websites remain
- Free tier limits apply: You can't create new resources beyond free tier limits
- Existing resources work: Your current operators, listings, and websites continue to function
- Premium features disabled: Premium templates and advanced features become unavailable
- API access removed: Direct API access is disabled (Growth+ feature)
Example: If you have 50 operators on Growth plan and cancel:
- All 50 operators remain in your database
- You can still use them in listings
- You can edit existing operators
- You cannot create new operators (free tier limit is 10)
- If you delete some operators and get below 10, you can create new ones up to the limit
Re-upgrading
You can upgrade again at any time:
- Go to billing settings
- Choose a plan
- Complete the upgrade process
- Your previous limits and features are restored immediately
- No data loss - everything is as you left it
Understanding Upgrade Prompts
tablrr shows upgrade prompts in several situations:
When You Hit a Limit
If you try to create a resource and you're at your limit:
- A prompt appears explaining the limit
- It shows which plan would give you more resources
- You can upgrade directly from the prompt
- Or dismiss it and delete unused resources
In Your Dashboard
You may see upgrade prompts in your dashboard:
- Highlighting premium features you don't have access to
- Suggesting plans that unlock more capabilities
- These are informational and can be dismissed
On Billing Page
The billing page shows:
- Your current plan and usage
- Available upgrade options
- Feature comparisons between plans
- Clear pricing information
